In 2020, because of the Corona virus issues we have been obliged to cancel this unique opportunity to visit the Normandy beaches and our golf tour.

As soon as the dust will have settled down we will offer this exceptional program again, certainly in 2021.

Stay tuned.

Gator Tours supports charitable organizations

DBA Special Operations Warrior Golf Foundation

The purposes for which the Corporation is formed are

(i) to provide, or coordinate through partnership relationships with other 501(c)(3) organizations, treatment to Speical Operations Forces (SOF) veterans that have experienced wounds, illnesses or injuries related to combat and/or military training and operations while in the service of our country; and

(ii) to provide assistance to these SOF veterans in the transition from the military to civilian life with particular emphasis on continued medical care and career opportunities.

The mission of the Special Operations Quiet Professionals Foundation, Inc., shall be to use the healing power of golf to assist Special Operations warriors recover, rehabilitate, and reintegrate into civilian life and to provide networking that can connect them to resources for continued medical care and benefits and aid them in their career transition.  The concept is to run a yearly set of retreats for SOF wounded warriors utilizing golf and its highly adaptive sport attributes as the core activity.  We will pull in professionals to teach and mentor the game while asking benefactors to sponsor, become playing partners, and personal/career mentors to the wounded warriors they sponsor.  Throughout the year we will target golf venues across the country as host facilities for these retreats.  Additionally, while at the retreat we will provide treatment and counseling sessions designed to promote the mental and physical health of the SOF warriors.  This portion of the retreat will be enhanced by collaboration with other 505(c)(3) organizations specializing in treating and counseling SOF wounded warriors.

The eligibility standard used for our participants in our program shall be the same standard used by the USSOCOM Warrior Care Program (Care Coalition).  However, the Board retains the right to extend the right to participate in the program to qualified non-SOF members and to Gold Star spouses and children of SOF warriors.

Thanking you in advance for your support for our troops with PTSD/TBI.

God Bless Our Troops and God Bless America.

Funds are currently being solicited to support the upcoming retreat in Waterville, Ireland for 10 Special Operators (Navy SEALs; MARSOC, Green Beret’s; AFSOC; Delta Force; and Army Rangers) who are suffering with PTSD/TBI. It has been determined that golf has a “healing effect” for those suffering from these maladies. You can help with your donation.

2019 was the fifth year Gator Tours has supported U.S. special operators with PTS/PTSD/TBI (Post traumatic Stress / Post traumatic Stress Disorder/Traumatic Brain Injury) on a retreat in Waterville, Ireland.  PTSD/TBI therapists participate along with the wounded veterans. The retreat includes golf instruction, horseback riding, fly fishing and a trip to Skellig Rock (Home to many scenes in Star Wars movie).  Waterville teaching professionals conduct clinics throughout the week.

A scramble tournament is held on the last day followed by Irish culture entertainment from the local area.
